Barry Gore

For the past thirty years I have taught Art and Photography at a variety of mainstream and alternative provisions across England.

Throughout I have continued to work on projects including designing press adverts, working as a photographer, my pictures have been used in the Guardian, the Observer, the Sun and the Times newspapers, TripAdvisor and Classic Cottages websites as well as by Bauer Media, owner of Radio X and others.

I still use traditional illustration methods in addition to computer approaches. Whilst we live in a world where we are watching AI overwhelm every area of human experience I still believe there is space for older, more traditional skills and techniques. My work has been exhibited in France, Jersey and the UK and I have produced numerous educational resources including student workbooks that have been downloaded over 13,000 times.

Currently I’m working on a few projects including a cartoon series, three photo books, and a book of short stories, I am also actively involved with design, photography and writing for the magazine GlassEye.
